  5:30 – 7:00 pm  Yoga for Beginners

  9:00 – 10:30 am  Ashtanga Flow

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 Yoga for Beginners *

A relaxing moderately paced flow-style class for beginner level students.  The class will focus on coordinating movement with the breath, progressing towards building endurance and strength to restructure the body and aid in coping with stress.

 Yoga for Dance **

An energetic class for beginning and continuing students with focus on strengthening the core muscles, the back and improving posture.  This class is a good companion to dance which aids in refining your frame, improving your balance and finding your center. 

 Ashtanga Flow  ***

Explore and challenge yourself as you're led through a series of postures to build strength, endurance and mental focus.  The emphasis is on movement coordinated with the breath to build internal heat, awaken core energies and move toward a natural state of balance.  All levels are welcome – come do what you can.  This is a practice to work into gradually and options for posture modification will be provided.
